Volunteers needed for FW Used Bookstore:  Can you spare one hour a month from
8:45 - 9:45am to help with our used bookstore?  Duties include: coming before school (kids can come with you), setting up the books in the cafe, helping kids find and pay for the books (25 cents or trade in a book), and helping pack up the books at the end.  We are open on Wednesdays once a month.  Please email me at dmurphy@bpsk12.org if you can help.  It is a lot of fun to watch the kids excitement in choosing their own books.  Thanks.  Donna Murphy, Reading Specialist.

Mrs. McDonald reads Ghost-Eye Tree
to Ms. Farmer's 1st grade class

Students enjoy creating scenes with their own "ghost eye trees" following the story.  They were happy to add their own spooky details including bats, owls, pumpkins and ghosts!

Welcome to "the zoo"!
Mrs. McDonald and Mr. Doiron were invited to Mrs. Duncan's Kindergarten classroom where we joined in singing the song "We're Going to the Zoo" in preparation for their upcoming field trip next week.  The students made great alligator and monkey puppets for us to share and sing along with. Thanks for sharing your artistic and musical talents with both of us.
